Responsibilities
  • This position is responsible for providing scheduled maintenance, performing minor and major engine overhauls in the field.
Qualifications
  • Must have prior mechanical experience such as automotive, power generation, heavy equipment or diesel engines.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (oil change, valve adjustment, lube and check equipment).
  • Experienced using tools (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools).
  • Ability to read, interpret safety documents, schematics and other mechanical diagrams.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting, repairs and rebuild an engine.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
  • Ability to travel including some overnight travel.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs.
  • Willing to work 8–12 hours per day.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • Must be able to communicate via telephone & email.
