Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer networking and electrical systems, with hands‑on experience in troubleshooting and repairing various telecommunications equipment. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our systems at client locations, providing exceptional service and support.

JOB DETAILS
  • Job Title: Field Services Technician
  • Type: Permanent Position - Full-Time

Job Responsibilities
  • Installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrading, and repairing computers and other electronic equipment, including laptops, workstations, printers and peripherals. POS systems and ATM repair, including first and second-line maintenance.
  • Assist in site preparation, installation / de-installation or moving of equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose the repair of the computer and ATM equipment.
  • Upgrade and modify computer hardware and perform software reloads and upgrades as required.
  • Interface and communicate with customers and assist with answering their questions concerning ATM, or computer hardware and software issues.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work an alternating shift schedule, as well as participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Education/Experience
  • Must be knowledgeable of current information and computer and communications technology, able to comprehend technical material, and interpret data from various sources.
  • Basic networking skills
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Electronic and computer hardware/software or equivalent background preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates with COMPTIA certifications (i.e. A+, N+ other certifications considered an asset
