A leading energy company in Calgary is seeking a Field Service Technician to install bottom hole assemblies and ensure equipment integrity at job sites. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, oilfield experience preferred, and the ability to perform hydraulic calculations. Advanced Upstream is looking to add a Field Service Technician to their team.
The Field Service Technician’s primary responsibilities will be the installation of Advanced Upstream (AU) bottom hole assemblies and completion equipment at customer job sites in any area that AU performs work. The Field Service Technician will account for, caliper, and measure all equipment against job packets, well data and tallies, while organizing paperwork and helping customers with equipment placement and tracking. Additionally, the technician will be required to perform hydraulic calculations including displacements, capacities, buoyancies, and pressures, and record the results on schematics and reports.
