Field Service Supervisor – Grande Prairie, AB

Job Description :

The Field Services Supervisor is the senior position in Field Services. The Field Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the Field Services Group. This position is given direction from the Field Services Manager or General Manager. Field Services Supervisor’s collect samples and are responsible for job administration and travel to site. They are also responsible for personnel management.

What you will be doing :

• Ability to perform all Field Technician duties, including booking field jobs, collecting samples and all associated paperwork
• Responsible for staffing and progression of Field team including setting objectives, evaluating performance
• Professional attitude that is customer service driven
• Maintain Vehicle
• Maintain required Safety Tickets and Courses
• Overall coordination and approval of areas related to the Field Technicians
• Train and mentor Junior Field Technicians

What you bring to the table :

Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract

Customer Service skills an asset

Intermediate Computer skills required

5 years experience in a Field Technician role

Technical Diploma an asset

H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, PST, CSTS would be considered assets

Work Environment :

This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a shop and field environment. This position may require consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. Sitting for long period in a vehicle is required. Up to date field safety tickets are required for compliance. PPE is required where applicable.
