Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience scoping and pricing field service projects.
  • Experience in hazardous waste management or environmental services preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, compliance requirements, and field service equipment.
  • Field service operations experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project needs and verify safety and quality.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and metrics.
  • Maintain customer relationships and oversee scoping, quoting, and competitive intelligence.
  • Primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Manage labor, equipment, and resource utilization for cost-effective execution.
  • Lead field service and emergency response projects and coordinate personnel.
  • Communicate with health and safety teams regarding site-specific requirements.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Service Project Manager to join our safety conscious team in Debert, NS! The FS Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing field services projects in the region. The role coordinates resources, tracks project performance, ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, and works with cross-functional teams to improve processes and optimize customer service and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to assess project needs, monitor progress, and verify safety and quality standards.

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.
  • 3+ years of experience scoping and pricing field service projects.
  • Experience in hazardous waste management or environmental services preferred.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, compliance requirements, and field service equipment.
  • Field service operations experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications.
