Job summary

Lifting Solutions Inc. is seeking a Rod Transport + Repair Unit Operator (RTR) to join our Field Services team in Canada. A valid Class 3 or Class 1 license with air brake endorsement is required to operate our 5-ton truck, with oil and gas experience considered an asset.

You will operate RTR service trucks, manage rod handling, and support safe, efficient wellsite service delivery while maintaining logs and coordinating operations with the crew.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license with air brake endorsement and a clean abstract.
• H2S Alive and Standard First Aid/CPR training or ability to obtain them.
• Minimum one year of oil and gas well servicing experience; rod handling is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate RTR service truck units and oversee all tasks during well servicing operations.
• Handle continuous rod to protect product integrity and downhole performance.
• Manage operating expenses for RTR units, doghouse, and crew truck.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks, inspections, and related tasks.
• Plan and coordinate RTR operations to ensure safe, efficient service at the wellsite.
• Maintain operations logs, driver logs, trip inspections, and fuel records.
• Report deficiencies promptly and follow up for timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot mobile equipment and field operations to minimize downtime.
• Support shift scheduling and competency development for the crew.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor trainees during field operations.
