Job summary

Acosta Group in Ontario, Canada, is seeking a Full-time Retail Merchandiser to support in-store execution for our CPG client. You will stock shelves, create displays, ensure availability, and maintain planogram compliance.

Responsibilities include executing plan-o-grams, prioritizing tasks, ensuring promotional display compliance, and effective communication with store staff to meet objectives. Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or sales experience.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with others.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 30-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Plan coverage, set priorities by reviewing call objectives, follow-ups from previous calls, organize required tools and materials to ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure promotional display compliance, identify opportunities, correct voids and out of stocks by merchandising shelves/displays, identify locations to secure incremental displays, place POS materials on shelves/displays, check product dates and rotate stock.
• Communicate effectively with store staff regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions, client objectives and work completed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain an effective working relationship with store staff to meet company and client objectives.
