Job summary

Acosta Group in Stratford, Ontario is hiring a Full-time Retail Merchandiser to support in-store execution for our leading CPG client. You will handle shelf stocking, display creation, and ensure product availability and compliance with planograms.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, travel to stores with reliable transportation, and collaborate with store staff to optimize promotions and rotate stock. The role offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising or sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Physically capable of lifting 30-50 pounds and standing for extended periods.

• Plan coverage, set priorities by reviewing call objectives, follow-ups from previous calls, organize required tools and materials to ensure deadlines are met.
• Ensure promotional display compliance, identify opportunities, correct voids and out of stocks by merchandising shelves/displays, identify locations to secure incremental displays, place POS materials on shelves/displays, check product dates and rotate stock.
• Communicate effectively with store staff regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions, client objectives and work completed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain an effective working relationship with store staff to meet company and client objectives.
