Job summary

MineSpec Resources is seeking an experienced Project Manager Industrial Construction (Mining & Infrastructure) to lead complex mining and civil earthworks across Canada and the United States. This is a field-focused leadership role with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, reporting to MineSpec leadership and coordinating with clients and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of PM experience in mining or heavy civil projects, strong leadership, advanced scheduling, cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of construction project management experience (mining or heavy civil preferred).
• Experience delivering bulk earthworks / mine civil scopes on active projects.
• Strong scheduling, quantity tracking, forecasting and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of contract administration and change management.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management in high-accountability environments.
• Willingness to travel across Canada and USA; eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for mining civil and earthworks scopes, aligning with scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Interface between client and contractor(s), supporting coordination and issue resolution.
• Coordinate multiple work fronts and subcontractors across earthworks, roadworks, water management and tailings.
• Develop and manage project plans, look-ahead schedules, work packages, and constraint logs.
• Oversee project controls including progress measurement, quantity tracking, cost forecasting, and reporting.
• Support change management with cost/schedule impact analysis.
• Track risks and opportunities; implement mitigation plans and reinforce safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and expediting to maintain field readiness.
• Lead regular coordination meetings and stakeholder updates with clear action tracking.
• Build and maintain strong client, contractor, and internal team relationships.
