Field Operator

Our customer, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a Field Operator to join their team in the Athabasca, Alberta area. Camp will be provided for the right candidates. This position is on a 7/7 rotation, 12-hour shifts. A crew shuttle is available from Edmonton and the Athabasca area to site.

Additional requirements include:
  • 2+ years experience with heavy oil and/or field operations; willing to train the right candidate
  • Post Secondary Education, focused in the Petroleum Industry, considered an asset
  • Knowledge of SCADA, PCP pumps, polymer flood process an asset
  • Required to have valid oilfield safety tickets (H2S Alive, Standard First Aid)
  • Clean driver's abstract; must be comfortable driving a truck off‑highway
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug & alcohol test
  • Strong aptitude for detail, disciplined work ethic and the ability to take initiative as well as accept direction
  • Capable of working in both a team and an individual environment
