Job summary

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Operator for our Edson, Alberta operations. This full-time, long-term role features an 8/6 shift (10-hour days) with on-call responsibilities and camp accommodations for the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in oil and gas field operations, pump jack experience, and comfort with quad operation, compressors, and various well types. Growth and long-term career development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of oil and gas field operating experience, including both gas and oil.
• Pump jack experience is required.
• Experience with compressors, plunger-lift and free-flowing wells.
• GFO/PFO considered an asset.
• Comfortable operating a quad.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A disciplined work ethic and initiative.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract.
• Valid H2S and First Aid tickets.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate field equipment and wells as part of daily production operations.
• Work an 8/6 shift with 10-hour days and on-call duties.
• Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team in an oil and gas setting.
• Be comfortable operating a quad and managing on-site field tasks.

Job description

A major oil and gas producer is looking for an experienced Field Operator to join their operations in the Edson, Alberta area.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity working an 8/6 shift with 10-hour days, with on-call responsibilities. Camp accommodations are available for the successful candidate.

We are looking for candidates who are eager to put down long-term roots with a company, develop their skill set and continue building their career in oil and gas operations.

This is a sweet gas operation with a mix of free-flowing and plunger-lift wells, reciprocating and screw field booster compressors, oil wells with pump jacks, and compressor stations with dehydration equipment. Candidates must be comfortable operating a quad and working independently.
