Job summary

Hercules SLR Inc. in Delta, BC is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections and testing of below-the-hook lifting gear, rigging and fall arrest gear to ensure safety compliance. The role offers a clear Monday–Friday schedule, competitive wage, and a comprehensive benefits package.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; candidates must lift up to 50 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and be legally eligible to work in Canada. Travel to site locations is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• All training provided; no previous experience required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist level.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of below-the-hook lifting gear, rigging and fall arrest gear.
• Complete reports on inspected items neatly and accurately.
• Assist other departments such as rigging and warehouse duties as needed.
• Submit reports to administration as specified.
• Maintain paperwork and records for inventory, billing and certification.
• Maintain company equipment used daily/weekly/monthly.
• Willing to travel to job sites as required.
