Qualifications

  • Work experience in heavy civil, northern mining or remediation projects is an asset.
  • Significant experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma or degree.
  • Hold a valid Canadian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect the works of contractors to ensure compliance.
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety standards.
  • Oversee Quality Control/Quality Assurance of contractor work.
  • Generate daily reports on subcontractor activities.
  • Assist with quality control assessments.

Ability to oversee activities of multiple contractors

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven ability to prepare reports
Ability to understand design specifications
