  • Review and technically approve assigned Daily Field Reports and inspection reports prepared by field technicians prior to PM / Engineer review or client submission.
  • Ensure field-level compliance and adherence to digital workflows (preparation and submission of reports) via the App.
  • Audit technicians to ensure tests are performed in accordance with established standards, GCE’s method statements, and audit checklists.

  • Remain responsive to the Quality Department for adherence to reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Enforce adherence to equipment and instruments sign-out / sign-in protocols.

  • Act as a technical mediator for field disputes regarding test failures (e.g., compaction density or concrete slump), providing expertise to ensure impartial and standardized re-testing procedures. Escalate issues to management within a timely manner.
  • Perform, train personnel, supervise, and document specialized testing procedures (e.g., QVE for deep foundations/subgrade, SHAPE, TIP, SQUID, and mass concrete temperature monitoring).
  • Enforce all company and site safety policies, including conducting regular safety meetings, and ensure all team members are working safely in high-risk project environments.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
