Job summary

Autism Services in Rosetown is seeking a Public Health Nurse for a temporary part-time role at the Rosetown Health Centre. The nurse will report to the Primary Health Care Manager and perform essential PHN duties within the Population Health Promotion Model.

The position requires a BScN, a valid Class 5 license, and BLS-HCP certification, with responsibilities including health promotion and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP).
• Ability to competently use health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Public Health Nursing services within the Population Health Promotion Model.
• Work independently and make primary decisions based on assessments.
• Liaise with and refer to other health personnel, sectors and community groups.
