A global engineering firm is seeking motivated individuals for temporary Field Assistant – Scaler/Checker positions in Alberta. The role involves recording truck weights and checking loads during construction projects. No prior education or experience is required, but candidates should be able to work outdoors in various conditions and communicate effectively in English. We have an opportunity for motivated individuals for Field Assistant – Scaler/Checker positions with our Alberta Transportation group in the following locations: Medicine Hat, Edgerton/Chauvin, Pigeon Lake/Mulhurst, and Red Deer/Blackfalds. These are temporary project positions that will run for the duration of the construction project requirements.
Work will occur primarily on construction sites which may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Work will involve some nighttime and weekend activities through the course of construction.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Some roles are bonus eligible.
