Job summary

A prominent agronomy service provider in Elmvale seeks a summer Agronomy intern. This role provides hands-on experience with crop scouting, pest management, and the opportunity to work independently in the field. Candidates must be 18+, enrolled in an agriculture-related program, and able to work in various conditions. This position offers tools and training to enhance your knowledge in agriculture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge and decision making.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Scouting with Central Ontario FS over the summer for hands-on experience in Agronomy.
• Use IPM techniques, satellite imagery, and GPS technology for documentation.
• Work independently in various field conditions and conduct visual inspections.
