Job summary

Central Ontario FS, a division of GROWMARK, Inc., is seeking a Summer Crop Scout in Elmvale, Ontario. This boots-on-the-ground role offers hands-on experience in agronomy, weed ID, crop staging, insects and diseases, and IPM techniques.

You will document notes using GPS and satellite imagery, represent the company in growers' fields, and work independently with supportive training and tools provided. Ideal for students in agriculture programs, 18+, with a valid G license and willingness to

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an agriculture-related college or university program.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license (Full G) and be able to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Scout crops in fields and document notes using IPM concepts.
• Represent Central Ontario FS in growers' fields and during scouting tours.
• Use GPS/satellite imagery to document weeds, insects, diseases and other yield threats.
• Be prepared for extended hours during peak seasons and travel as needed.
