As a Zones Field Account Executive, when you generate sales, IT solutions leads, close deals, and bring in new business in Enterprise organizations. After successfully completing your Zones training program, your focus in this field sales position is to work with our great team full of sales support and engineering resources to position Zones as the choice for IT services and solutions in your territory.

What you’ll do as the Field Account Executive

  • Builds relationships within an assigned region in person and selling Zones technology solutions and services to clients.
  • Hunting and driving profitable target accounts in partnership with centralized inside sales teams assigned to portfolios.
  • Providing in-depth customer technology roadmaps and client account strategies; and collaboratively working with our robust team to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Developing partnerships with OEM Sales Representatives and optimize joint selling opportunities.
  • Build market awareness of Zones’ global capabilities and MBE status through participation in local/regional industry events, organizations and affiliations.
What you will bring to the team
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with minimum of 3 years direct, field-based technology solutions sales experience and 5 years of industry experience in a business development and/or direct quota driven sales role; value added reseller preferred.
  • Deep understanding of technologies that drive Zones solutions such as Data Centre, Unified Communications, Security, IOT, Cloud and/or Mobility and solid in territory relationships with partners such as Cisco, EMC, HP, Microsoft, AWS preferred.
  • Proven record of successfully hunting and acquiring new customers including Mid-Market to Enterprise size business and government customers at the local, state, or Federal level.
  • Experience teaming collaboratively with an inside account executive in a high-volume and fast-paced professional environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with a CRM System for strategic pipeline management preferred.
