A leading telecommunications company is seeking a Fiber Optic Splicer in Winnipeg, MB. The chosen candidate will be responsible for installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables to ensure reliable connectivity for clients. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, at least 2 years of splicing experience, proficiency in using splicing and testing equipment, and strong understanding of industry standards. This is a full-time position with potential weekend work and offers a competitive benefits package.
Our Telecommunications group is currently looking to add Fiber Optic Splicer to our growing team, based in Winnipeg, MB.
Reporting to the Foreman, you will be responsible for the installation, splicing, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables to ensure seamless connectivity for our clients. You will work on various projects, including new installations, upgrades, and repairs, playing a crucial role in delivering reliable and high-speed internet and communication services.
Please Note: This position works Monday to Friday with some weekend work required.
