Job summary

Generation Fertility is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to support patients across Vaughan/New Market and Toronto West locations. The role is hybrid, with in-clinic care and work-from-home days after training, under supervision of reproductive specialists.

You will conduct fertility assessments, coordinate treatment protocols (IUI/IVF), educate patients, and provide compassionate emotional support throughout the fertility journey. Strong EMR skills and OB/GYN familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (e.g., McMaster University, University of Toronto, or Consortium PA Program).
• Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) designation or CAPA/PACCC certification active.
• Current registration in good standing, eligible to practice as PA in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and fertility evaluations for new and follow-up patients.
• Complete virtual (telephone/video) consults as needed.
• Diagnose and help manage common acute and chronic conditions relevant to reproductive health.
• Possibly perform IUI under physician supervision; manage ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF protocols with physicians.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within PA scope; educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the EMR and ensure CPSO guidelines compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and referrals; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and lab staff.
