Job summary

Walmart Canada in Ottawa is seeking a friendly Fashion Associate to greet customers, help locate merchandise and promote products. You will process, stock and replenish fashion items while keeping displays tidy and standards high.

You will work as part of a team to plan daily tasks, ensure signage is correct, and maintain a safe, clean sales floor. The role is entry-level with minimum age 16 and a starting wage of CAD 17.75 per hour.

Position Summary

What You’ll Do

• Merchandises non-modular fashion items.


• Provides excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists customers by promotion products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.


• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.


• Processes and stocking all fashion merchandise.


• Keeps the salesfloor area clean and tidy for the customer.


• Ensuring proper fixtures and supplies are used and replaced if necessary.


• Uses proper signage as the modular dictates.


• Replenishes and merchandises seasonal merchandise in a timely manner.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
