Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp is seeking a Fashion Associate at our New Glasgow, NS location to deliver exceptional customer service, stock fashion merchandise, and maintain merchandising standards in a safe, clean retail environment.

You will work as part of a team to plan daily tasks and seasonal displays, greet customers, assist with product promotions, and ensure signage and fixtures are properly used and updated. Minimum age is 16 or older.

What you’ll do

1. 1. Provides excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assists customers by promotion products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
2. 2. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
3. 3. Processes and stocking all fashion merchandise.
4. 4. Keeps the salesfloor area clean and tidy for the customer.
5. 5. Merchandises non-modular fashion items.
6. 6. Ensuring proper fixtures and supplies are used and replaced if necessary.
7. 7. Uses proper signage as the modular dictates.
8. 8. Replenishes and merchandises seasonal merchandise in a timely manner.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.15.
