Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a farm supervisor in Canada to oversee planting, harvesting and related tasks on a tree and orchard fruit farm. You will organize tasks, supervise 5-10 workers, maintain records and ensure safety and bio-security protocols are followed.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced rural environment, and capability to manage crop operations across apples, cherries, melons and tomatoes. English required.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience in farming is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Maintain work records and logs
• Hire and train staff
• Perform general farm duties
