As a Soil Sampler you will travel across your assigned region and use GPS equipment and specialized company-provided vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer's fields, to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. What you'll be doing:
  • Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower's fields
  • Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
  • Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
  • Sampling database administration and maintenance
  • Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment
What you'll need to be successful:
  • Valid driver's license* for designated province/state of employment;
  • Some agricultural experience would be an asset;
  • Ability to carry up to 20 kg;
  • Ability to travel, often to rural areas
  • Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
