Job description

As a Soil Sampler you will travel across your assigned region and use GPS equipment and specialized company-provided vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer's fields, to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. What you'll be doing

• Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower\'s fields
• Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
• Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
• Sampling database administration and maintenance
• Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment

What you\'ll need to be successful

• Valid driver\'s license for designated province / state of employment
• Some agricultural experience would be an asset
• Ability to carry up to 20 kg
• Ability to travel, often to rural areas
• Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and / or weekends
• The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of, and maintain an acceptable driving record, consistent with our Vehicle Use Policies, to be eligible for employment with Farmers Edge
