A leading cherry producer in the Okanagan Valley is seeking a Farm Manager to oversee operations, manage workers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Jealous Fruits is the northernmost large scale cherry producer in North America. We grow premium cherries along the shores of Okanagan Lake in the renowned Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Our cherries are all hand packed in our state-of-the-art facility, located right on our farm, and shipped to our customers worldwide.
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Farm Manager will organize work teams, monitor progress, and ensure quality compliance. During the demands of harvest, you will be required to communicate progress to the Operations Manager, ensure fruit is picked in a timely manner, and the quality of picking meets company standards. The Farm Manager will manage the worker camp and ensure all employees are following company policies and safety regulations. The successful candidate must be people-centered, supportive, and flexible in order to create a positive work environment. Ensuring employees adhere to company policies as well as work and food safety regulations will be of utmost importance. Candidates should be keen problem solvers who are focused on efficiency and take a hands‑on approach to management.
