Job summary

VH Farms Inc. in Delhi, ON is seeking a Farm labourer who is enthusiastic and has good interpersonal skills. The position is permanent and full-time with day, evening, night, weekend, early morning and morning shifts.

You will help with poultry and crop farming, including broiler production and ginseng, disinfect barns, monitor water and temperature, and write simple daily reports. Training is provided; a valid driver’s licence is preferred and readiness to work in dusty, hot or noisy conditions

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide farm animal behaviour.

• Provide crop services: plowing, irrigation and harvesting.
• Monitor crop and livestock health; detect diseases.
• Write daily progress reports.
• Install and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns.
