A regional government agency in Whitehorse is looking for a Family Support Worker to provide home-based support services to families. The role involves enhancing parent-child relationships and collaborating with social workers to create effective case management plans. Candidates should possess a Social Worker Degree or Diploma and experience with vulnerable populations. Competitive salary and various beneficial offerings are part of the role.
This posting will be used to fill 2 permanent full-time positions working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.
This job based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon.
Working as a Family Support Worker, you will provide home-based support services to families and children. This position assists in strengthening the parent-child relationship by improving parenting skills. Collaborating with the assigned Social Worker, and family in devising a tailored case management plan.
