Role and Facility Information

Join Penticton’s newest walk-in clinic and become part of a collaborative, patient-focused primary care team. With more than 42 physicians already signed up for clinic shifts, the Colleen Schneider Medical Centre Walk-In Clinic is expanding and seeking a Family Physician to contribute to the delivery of high-quality acute care services for both attached and unattached patients.

We are currently offering a permanent 0.55 FTE position.

The clinic is supported administratively by the South Okanagan Similkameen Healthcare Society, allowing physicians and nurse practitioners to focus on patient care rather than clinic operations.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive episodic and longitudinal primary care within a team-based environment. Physicians will work collaboratively with other clinic providers and staff to support accessible, efficient, and compassionate care for the Penticton community and surrounding South Okanagan region.

Education And Certification

• Current full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
• Certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) - Mandatory
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
