The Namgis First Nation is looking for a physician to join the health team. The physician will work in clinic with 2 physicians and other health team members: including 2 community care nurses, 2 mental health workers, addictions counselors and a social worker. There are also visiting occupational therapists, social work, mental health, intensive case managers and a midwife. Additionally, visiting specialists include Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology and Psychiatry. The position requires ER coverage, inpatient hospital care and long-term patient care. Both the clinic and hospital are located on the Namgis First Nations reserve. The position is salaried, and housing can be provided.

Compensation Type Salary
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 23.94% Retention Flat Fee $37,100 Relocation Funding Available $up to $15,000 Recruitment Incentive $20,000 Other Benefits/Incentives Rural CME: starting at $1,320/annum for 2 years or less in community, increasing to $3,520/annum in year 3&4 to a maximum of $5,720 after 4 years.
