Job summary

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Physician Recruitment & Retention Coordinator to oversee recruitment and retention activities for Ste. Rose du Lac Health Centre. The role includes coordinating coverage with a small group of physicians and supporting family medicine practice operations.

The position supports on-call Emergency Department duties and alignment with the Parkland Family Medicine residency program; previous recruitment experience and healthcare coordination skills are assets.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for clinical practice.
• ACLS certification required.
• CMPA (or equivalent) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide family medicine services as part of Ste. Rose du Lac Health Centre.
• Share in the Emergency Department on-call schedule and coordinate coverage with physician colleagues.
• Coordinate physician recruitment and retention initiatives for the practice group.

Ste. Rose du Lac Health Centre is a 26 bed acute care and 65 bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Emergency, Palliative, and Mental Health.
Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Ste. Rose du Lac Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues.
