Qualifications

  • Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Current BCLS Certification required in relevant areas: ICU, ER and CP.
  • Understanding of standards and ethics related to nursing practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in a clinical setting.
  • Respond to a variety of simultaneous demands efficiently.
  • Participate as a member of the healthcare team.

Skills

Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients
Demonstrated critical thinking/problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
Proficient with computers, software programs, and applications
Preference for Indigenous language competency

Education

Graduate of approved Registered Nurses education program
Successful completion of relevant post-basic program
