Responsibilities

- Examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
- Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness.
- Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' health.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Inoculate and vaccinate patients.
- Advise patients on health care.
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care.
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families.
