Job summary

Branion Williams Recruiting is helping a GTA North family law boutique recruit experienced family lawyers for a hybrid role. You will carry your own files, receive strong mentorship, and work in a collaborative team focused on high-quality client service.

Open to 3–5 year and 6+ year lawyers, with salaries from $110,000–$150,000 for the 3–5 year track and $150,000+ for 6+ years. The firm covers health, dental, Vision and Law Society/LAWPRO fees.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of post-call family law experience in Ontario.
• Experience with contested and negotiated family matters.
• Strong advocacy, drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to independently manage files and client relationships.
• Collaborative and collegial approach to practice.

Responsibilities

• Carry own family law files with meaningful responsibility.
• Provide high-quality advocacy and negotiations for clients.
• Collaborate with law clerks and administrative staff.
• Contribute to growth and mentoring of junior lawyers.

Family Law Associate(s) – 3+ Years | GTA North / Hybrid

$110,000–$150,000 (3–5 years) | $150,000+ (6+ years)

Our client, an established and growingfamily law boutique in the GTA North, is looking to add experienced family lawyers to its team.

This is an opportunity for a family lawyer who wants high-quality work, meaningful responsibility for clients and files, reasonable targets, strong support and greater autonomy—without sacrificing mentorship or collaboration.

The Opportunity

The firm has a sophisticated, full-service family law practice involving parenting and decision-making, child and spousal support, property division, domestic contracts, and complex financial and litigation matters.

Lawyers have meaningful carriage of their own files while working alongside experienced family law practitioners, law clerks and administrative professionals.

The firm is open to lawyers at different stages of their careers:

3–5 Years:

Lawyers looking to deepen their family law experience, take on greater responsibility and continue developing with significant mentorship, guidance and support.

6+ Years:

More senior lawyers who can independently manage sophisticated matters and are interested in playing a meaningful role in the continued growth of the practice, including mentoring more junior lawyers.
