Join us and make every day an unforgettable adventure!Job DescriptionAs a Culinary Administrator, you will coordinate, oversee and perform administrative support to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef team. Serving as the primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external inquires, and managing all culinary departmental and staff records.Salary Range: $54000-$58000 per annum.What you will be doing:Ensuring important information flows appropriately to and from the culinary teamCreate, compose, and design internal forms and communicationEnsure departmental schedules are accurately recorded using the Labor management systemEnsuring accurate payroll is submitted for bi-weekly reportingMaintain all reports and records required by our Talent & Culture teamBecome knowledgeable in the Collective Bargaining Agreement & departmental policies and proceduresAssist in Culinary recruitment includes screening resumes, contacting prospects, conducting department interviews, following up with references, and completing necessary paperworkParticipate in new menu launches creating information sheets for the Food & Beverage divisionParticipate with Sous Chef team in daily EO review and weekly resume meeting, distribute internal order formsCoordinate new employee arrival and departmental orientationActive participation in Kitchen departmental meetings, team building efforts and other activitiesAssist stewarding department with administrative duties as neededMonitoring and maintaining payroll, vacation and statutory holiday records for the Kitchen and support for the Stewarding DepartmentOther duties as assigned by Executive ChefQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency of Microsoft 365 office suitesAbility to focus attention on Heartist and guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPassion for culinary and cookingAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Opera PMS assetHospitality diploma/degree is an assetAbility to work independently as well as cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervisionAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
