Overview

Seasonal (May to October). Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is a premier year-round resort offering exceptional outdoor adventures for both guests and colleagues. Located at 1 Old Lodge Rd, Jasper, AB T0E 1E0. Starting rate of pay: $16.46 per hour. Job type: Seasonal.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is a premier year-round resort offering exceptional outdoor adventures for both guests and colleagues. Jasper is a haven for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts, surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rockies and breathtaking landscapes.

Responsibilities
  • As a Host/Hostess with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience.
  • In this role you will support the hotel by:
  • Coordinate seating and flipping tables
  • Understand the Server and Busperson’s tasks in the outlet and provide assistance as required
  • Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
  • Escort guests to their tables
  • Organize reservations on a daily basis using Open Table reservation system
  • Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
Qualifications
  • Previous guest facing customer service experience required in the last 3 years
  • Food and beverage or retail experience
  • Pro Serve certificate required
  • Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset
  • Open Table experience an asset
