Your ability to work as a team player combined with your service skills and your engaging personality will ensure that our Guests have a memorable experience.Starting Rate of Pay: $18.59 per hourWhat you will be doing:Ensure post conference tear down and preparation for following groups, reporting room deficiencies to supervisorSupport department; assisting food & beverage outlets in such ways as setting buffets; staging events & theme décorBuild, set, serve and tear down of coffee breaksReview banquet event orders to ensure the proper set-ups are in placeCommunicate, anticipate & cater to the every need of group conveners and members for the duration of their stay; ensuring they are comfortable and all expectations are exceededAssist with coaching and training the Banquet Houseperson teamSupport in house audio visual suppliers (PSAV) where requiredLiaise with the Conference Services/Catering Department to ensure events are executed successfullyLiaise with onsite meeting planner to ensure clients’ needs are being meetOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour qualifications and skills include:Previous food & beverage leadership experience preferredPrevious banquet or convention houseperson experience an assetFood & Beverage training and experience an assetProserve Certification requiredAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
