Failure Analysis - Process Engineer

Location: Singapore, SG

About our group:

The Failure Analysis team plays a critical role in analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, uncover root causes of low yield and failure mechanisms, and drive continuous improvements in yield and defect reduction.

About the role - you will:
  • Responsible daily product yield and defect trends; investigate root causes of yield variations
  • Perform physical failure analysis to identify sources of defects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance) to resolve yield/defect issues
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product yield and quality
  • Support process engineering evaluations
  • Evaluate effectiveness of yield improvement actions
  • Analyze media test data to identify yield issues
  • Conduct statistical analysis and present findings using data visualization tools
About you:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Your experience includes:
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., JMP, Tableau); training will be provided
  • Understanding of statistical analysis outputs and terminology
  • Basic knowledge of Python or MySQL is a plus
