An essential community support organization in Vancouver seeks a part-time Facility Operations Technician. This role involves maintaining the facilities, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operations during core hours from Saturday to Monday. Ideal candidates should have relevant education, teamwork skills, and the ability to lift at least 30 lbs. A valid Class 5 BC Drivers License is required.

Since opening our first 13-bedroom House in Vancouver in 1983 Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon has continued to grow to meet the rising need for 2014 we opened a new 73-bedroom House on the grounds of BC Childrens Hospital along with a 2000 sq. ft. Ronald McDonald Family Room inside Surrey Memorial 2025 we expanded once again opening a new Family Room at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops bringing comfort care and a place to rest to families in the BC Interior.
Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon is planning for even greater impact. With exciting expansion plans underway we aim to double our capacity and impact across BC and the Yukon over the next five years ensuring even more families can stay close when it matters most.

The Facility Operations Technician will work under the direction of the Operations Supervisor and in cooperation with our Family Services team to ensure smooth operation of the RMH facilities. The hours for the role require flexibility between core operating hours. The schedule is Saturday- Monday and the incumbent will be responsible for preventative maintenance and other ongoing activities to keep the House running in optimal condition for our guest families.
This is a part-time position that will be scheduled Fridays Saturdays and Sundays.
