Seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer 2026. Full‑time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist the fleet maintenance manager and lead mechanic as required in any light duty maintenance assistance with the boat or ground fleet.
• Facilities painting needs both interior and exterior.
• Perform daily maintenance checks as assigned.
• Support general facility cleaning needs as required.
• Complete general repairs within scope of experience/skill including minor carpentry, plumbing, landscaping and light equipment operations.
• Pick up supplies, take recycling to the town depot.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Mature, energetic, dependable and self‑motivated.
• Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Previous painting experience is preferred.
• Previous mechanical familiarity an asset (engine knowledge).
• Comfortable using variety of hand and power tools.
• Some general light maintenance and repair skills are preferred.
• Class 5 driver’s license (unrestricted), required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties, required, which may include working at heights, use of manual and power tools.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Internally motivated with a consistently high level of energy.
• High attention to detail and safety focused.
• Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Be prepared for all weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail).
• Must meet the organization grooming and appearance standards.

The starting wage for this role is $22.00/hr.
