Job summary

CANSPC is hiring a Commercial Janitorial / Cleaner to maintain a secure commercial office building. The role requires performing daily cleaning tasks, operating cleaning equipment, and upholding high standards of cleanliness in a secure environment.

Candidates must have or be eligible for Enhanced Security Clearance, and be able to work independently with reliability and strong time-management skills. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• Enhanced Security Clearance required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of office spaces, workstations, meeting rooms, reception areas, and common areas.
• Vacuuming carpets and entrance mats throughout the building; sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms and kitchenettes; restocking supplies.
