Job summary

Paterson Grain in Swift Current (SK) is seeking a Facility Assistant to support grain handling operations at our terminal. You will assist with receiving, storage, loading, drying, blending and shipping of grain, and help maintain safe, clean outdoor work areas.

The role requires comfort with heights, dusty conditions and outdoor work. Evening/weekend availability and prior elevator or agriculture experience are assets; training is provided to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Grain cleaning experience is an asset.
• Experience with agriculture, farm equipment and mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Previous elevator experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a hard-working, hands-on individual to fill the role of Facility Assistant at our Paterson Grain terminal located in Swift Current, SK. The Facility Assistant will be responsible for all activities related to the handling and shipping of grain. The successful candidate must be capable working at heights, in dusty conditions and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain.
• Assist in monitoring stored grain conditions while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform or assist in routine maintenance and repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
