Starting Wage Grid: From $52,201 to $78,301 / year

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the progress of the multi-trade facilities and contracted services.
  • Maintains a visible presence, ensuring service standards are maintained and business and personal development goals are supported and achieved.
  • Responds to all customer feedback in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensures that staff and customer/guest safety is top of mind, by maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment, in compliance with Health and Safety policies.
  • Ensures maintenance planning and communication meetings are conducted regularly and follow up to issues is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures optimum building maintenance and 24/7 operation through the use of computerize demand maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Performs regular and spot review of accomplishments and reports on progress of operations noting achievements and strategies to address deficiencies.
  • Delivers on promises by meeting all deadlines on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Involved in creating and achieving financial budgets for day to day facility operations, major maintenance upkeep initiatives and capital replacement projects.
  • Proactively and positively resolve performance, cost and scheduling issues before they arise.
  • Maximizes on cost control opportunities through optimal scheduling and utilization of resources, both internal and contract.
  • Ensure all standards are adhered to in the various workloads.
  • Retain & file all inspection reports, certificates and any other building maintenance documents ensure overall compliance.
What You Bring
  • Supervisory knowledge and skill generally associated with the completion of college / university degree program and / or a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a facilities supervisor in a casino, hospitality or hospital environment or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Licensed Journeyman in a related trade an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, business writing, electronic communications and presentations.
  • Strong computer knowledge, proficient in MS Office, BAS, F/A and PM programs.
  • Ability to work in Teams consisting of many disciplines and collaborate to achieve a sound business outcome.
