The role emphasizes ensuring spaces are functional, safe, and efficient while meeting client objectives. Responsibilities include cost estimation, facilities planning, conducting evaluations, and supporting construction processes.
Facilities Master Planner. Are you an experienced Facility Master Planner within the educational sector and with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes and driving operational excellence? A growing, industry-leading company specializing in integrated asset management and capital planning services across North America, services include Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs), Facilities and Space Planning, Accessibility Assessments, Structural Assessments, and Capital Asset Database Management. Provide infrastructure assessment and capital planning expertise to various sectors, including higher education, K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, municipal and provincial governments, and more. This role focuses on the educational sector, K-12 and / or Universities and Colleges, and is responsible for the design, planning, and management of buildings, facilities or refurbishment projects, focusing on effectively utilizing space and resources to support the organizations physical facility and space needs while ensuring physical spaces are functional, safe, and efficient. This includes everything from the layout and design of buildings to the systems and infrastructure that support them. The Facilities Master Planner will work closely with the client’s architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that the plans they develop meet the needs of their users, while also being cost-effective and efficient. Additional responsibilities may also include supporting the construction and / or renovation process, overseeing contractors and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
