Job Summary

The Facilities Manager oversees the Plant Operations departments to support the hospital's mission, vision, and facility goals. This role involves identifying cost-effective systems, managing building functionality, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Manage building maintenance and grounds
  • Have advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Conduct loss prevention, fire safety, and protection activities
  • Collaborate with senior management to meet facility goals
  • Lead and consult with departments to ensure environmental safety and comfort
  • Perform safety inspections and coordinate repairs with vendors
  • Supervise maintenance staff and other facility personnel
  • Work with clinical staff to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Identify areas for improvement through customer feedback and data
  • Serve as the facility safety officer and oversee compliance activities

Requirements
Experience
  • 8-10 years of healthcare or industrial management experience in construction, equipment, utilities, and building management
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or similar; Master’s degree preferred
