Job summary

A hospitality and attractions company located in Alberta seeks a Seasonal Maintenance Worker for Spring/Summer 2026. This full-time position requires performing daily maintenance checks, completing repairs, and booking contractors. Candidates should have experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and possess a Standard First Aid Certification. Enjoy working outdoors and be prepared for all weather conditions. Starting wage is $24.00/hour along with various employee perks.

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full‑time seasonal role.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Performing daily maintenance checks
  • Completing repairs within scope of experience/skill
  • Following up on maintenance requests
  • Participating in seasonal annual opening and closing procedures
  • Booking and coordinating contractors
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self‑motivated – Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Previous plumbing, electrical, building and carpentry experience preferred – Class 5 driver’s licence (unrestricted), required
  • Standard First Aid Certification, required (or willing to obtain prior to beginning work)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties, required
  • Proven ability to complete minor building repairs to proper building standards/codes
  • Organizational and time‑management skills, with attention to detail
  • Dependable, self‑motivated and fully capable of working autonomously
  • Employee and public relations skills and a friendly/cooperative nature
  • Must enjoy working outdoors, even in challenging mountain weather conditions
  • Internally motivated with a consistently high level of energy
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
  • High attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast‑paced environment
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment
  • Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
  • Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standard

The starting wage for this role $24.00/hour.
