Job summary

A community support organization in Ontario is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to manage maintenance and events at local facilities. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Facility Management and experience in facilities coordination. Responsibilities include planning facility use and advising on maintenance. The Role

Supporting a culture of Health and Wellness, working alongside the members of the Canadian Armed Forces and actively preparing them to defend and serve our country could be your path to an extremely fulfilling career.

As part of a dynamic and dedicated team, as a Facilities Coordinator, you will:

  • plan and coordinate the maintenance, repair or construction of local facilities and fitness trails and schedule the use of recreation facilities
  • advise managers on routine maintenance in all facilities, as required
  • recommend facility upgrades, designs, and requirements
  • coordinate and organize special events, as well as the use of facilities with local communities for scheduling events that exceed Base capacity
  • perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Facility Resource Management, Recreation Facility Management, Leisure Services, or a related field AND some years of experience in facilities coordination or in a related field.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
