Job summary

A leading staffing and workforce solutions company is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Calgary. The role involves managing facility tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies, and vendor management. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and a good understanding of building operations. This is a 4-month onsite contract with the possibility of extension.

  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy and legislation.
  • Monitor customer requests and maintain satisfaction.
  • Schedule monthly PMs and manage contractor communications.
  • Manage vendor relationships including janitorial services.
  • Provide front desk coverage and support special events.

Location: Calgary, AB

Salary: $22.5 / Hour

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the company is compliant with Health and Safety Policy and legislation including completion of risk assessments as required
  • Monitor all customer requests logged through the Facilities Helpdesk and ensure that appropriate action is taken within agreed timescales to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Scheduling monthly PM's coordinating with contractors, including regular emergency repairs and maintenance.
  • Vendor management : Janitorial, Landlord POC, critical vendors (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
  • Setting up conference rooms
  • Front desk coverage
  • Orders basic office supplies and maintains pantry
  • When needed, may help set up and support special events
Qualifications

Must Have Skills : Dealing with people

Understanding the processes like HVAC or Electrical Service

Understanding of building operations

Nice to have skills :

Financial experience, budgeting- working with budgets
