Job description

Brandt Developments Ltd. is currently looking for a motivated junior to intermediate Facilities Coordinator to support our Building Design and Facilities Management group in our Regina, Saskatchewan location.

Duties & Responsibilities

Brandt’s interdisciplinary building design group provides high quality building solutions for the Brandt Group of Companies. With a growing network of over one hundred Equipment Dealerships in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, in addition to corporate and manufacturing infrastructure buildings, Brandt’s Facilities Management group is vital to the company’s success and our employee’s workplace experience.

  • Coordination of small building projects, the development of scope documents, estimates and construction drawings, and seeing the work through to implementation
  • Assist in managing our inventory of corporate assets (e.g., furniture and system walls) and work with key suppliers
  • Maintain existing building records
  • Coordinate tenant moves and support our Facility Managers throughout Canada
  • Preparation of cost estimates, tender contract documents and Site Visit Reports
  • Collaborating with Brandt’s internal building design team to deliver ongoing customer service to internal stakeholders, and to maintain and / or upgrade our facilities to Brandt’s corporate standard
  • S upport the development of construction documents, coordinate with other (internal and external) design and engineering disciplines, Contractors, Project Management and Constructors, and support the project through contract administration
  • Complete various site inspections and prepare contract administration reports
  • Assist to review, evaluate, and improve upon current Brandt design standards, drafting, details and specifications as required
  • C ontinued focus on operational excellence and long-term sustainability
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities will be adjusted to suit experience and capabilities
